The Director of Research, Dr. Mark A. Wainberg, is responsible for the management of all research activities in the Lady Davis Institute for Medical Research and clinical research in the Sir Mortimer B. Davis – Jewish General Hospital.

The Scientific Officer, Dr. Stéphane Richard, assists in the scientific and administrative aspects of laboratory research. The Associate Director, Clinical Research, Dr. Susan R. Kahn, assists in the scientific and administrative aspects of clinical research.

Standing Committees of the LDI include: The Academic Advisory Committee, the Research Management Committee, the Animal Care Committee, the Seminar Committee, the Health and Safety Committee, the Library Committee and Student Association Committee. The Research Ethics Committee reports to the Board of Directors of the Hospital.
