McGill University's Office of Technology Transfer (OTT) links the McGill research community with industry by managing the commercialization of the intellectual property of the University and its affiliated hospitals. OTT's mission is to promote McGill's research capabilities and to support the transfer of research and technology to the private sector.

The OTT representative at the LDI/JGH satellite office is Dr Astrid Reimann. With previous experience in venture capital, the pharmaceutical industry, and as an entrepreneur, she services the LDI/JGH medical and research community by negotiating all IP related agreements, such as Confidential Disclosure agreements, Inter-institutional agreements, NSERC CRDs (research contract with one or several industry partners), NSERC Idea to Innovation Program, NSERC Strategic Project Grant: where an IP agreement is needed, CIHR Proof of Principle Program, exclusive or non- exclusive Option and License agreements.
